Why We Like It

You’d be hard-pressed to find a better Beverly Hills location for dining, drinking and (most importantly) shopping. The Beverly Canon Gardens is right behind the hotel and is a bustling, shared city space with lush landscaping, dining and drinking options. This hotel bleeds elegance and is the perfect spot for luxury travelers to unwind in the glitziest part of LA. For families, there’s even a room called the Paintbox where parents can drop off kids 5-12 years old while they explore the city. The design of the hotel won’t knock anyone’s socks off, but the spa just might. Overall, the hotel is refined and inoffensive in every way possible and the service will go above and beyond to make your stay as memorable as can be.

Room

Inoffensive beige tones and simple classic furnishings can be found in most rooms. There are many different layouts, but guests can typically expect balcony views, tablets that control temperature settings/curtain-closings/and room service, free Wi-Fi and even monogrammed pillow cases.

Tip Don’t pass up on your complimentary champagne upon arrival!

Bathroom

Almost all the bathrooms have sunken tubs and separate rain showers with TVs embedded in the wall. Antica Farmacista with Pomegranate scents are the bath products in each room.

Lobby

The opulent lobby is more of a weigh station than a hangout. Fresh flowers sit atop marble floors as guests wait to check in.

Pool

Cabanas around the rooftop pool are for rent and you can usually find weekday business deals getting signed between swims. The guests-only spot is most definitely a "see-and-be seen" crowd--which will either seem really cool to you or extremely annoying!

You Should Know Cabana rentals start at $350 Monday-Thursday and $450 Friday-Sunday.

Spa

Quite possibly the highlight of the hotel, the Spa Montage Beverly Hills is world-renowned for its skincare, body treatments and other amenities. A co-ed Turkish-like bath allows guests to soak and flirt, while large, pool-sized Jacuzzi’s are available in the separate locker rooms. There are 17 treatment rooms here specializing in massages, L.Raphael Geneve anti-aging facials and detoxifying therapies. Our skin tightens just thinking about it.

Gym

A fully-equipped fitness center comes complete with advanced cardio machines and free weights. Personal trainers are available upon request. The hotel also offers fitness classes every day of the week--some complimentary, others for a small fee.

Dining

Georgie dishes out modern-American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the rooftop grill serves more down-to-earth California fare. The Garden Bar is a chill lounge area with small bites and live piano music throughout the week.

Drinking

With its hidden entrance and uber-strict door, £10 is the hotel’s whiskey-laced speakeasy. Let the hotel concierge know you want in for easier access. The Garden Bar is more door-friendly and has a live pianist Tuesday through Saturday.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

You’re right in the heart of Beverly Hills. A five-minute walk gets you to the finest shopping and restaurants in the city. If your well-heeled feet need a rest, the hotel has a complimentary Phantom Rolls Royce to chauffer you around. There isn’t train access in Beverly Hills, so if you want to get anywhere farther away, it'd be best to rent a car or take a cab.

Restaurants

Being in the middle of Beverly Hills has its perks from a dining standpoint. Next to the hotel, guests can nibble on French pastries at Bouchon. Across the street, sushi-lovers and red meat-mongers will find Sugarfish by Sushi Nozawa and Mastro’s Steakhouse. And followers of famed chef Wolfgang Puck can hop next door to Spago for creative Cali-cuisine.

Bars

Hotel bars are your best options in this part of town, but you can find a perfect vodka martini at Nic’s (7-minute walk) right up the street.
