Wood-Tikchik State Park

The size of Delaware and also Alaska’s largest state park, 1.6-million-acre Wood-Tikchik State Park is an angler’s dream come true. Five species of salmon as well as rainbow trout abound in the park’s pristine waters and attract sportfishers from around the world. South of Wood-Tikchik in the Bering Sea is Walrus Islands State Game Sanctuary, a group of islands known for its—you guessed it—walruses.
