Getting Here and Around

The best, and in some cases the only way to explore these regions is by car, and this makes it easy to spend as much or as little time as desired in any given area. Start by heading northeast out of Québec City on Route 440 (Autoroute Dufferin–Montmorency) and then Route 138 (Boulevard Ste-Anne).

Another way to explore the exceptional beauty of the region is to hop aboard Le Train du Massif Charlevoix, a train that runs mid-June through mid-October along the shoreline from Parc de la Chute-Montmorency station to Baie-St.-Paul or La Malbaie, with several excursion options. .
