Why We Like It

Ski in, ski out--enough said. This is a convenient and stylish property with all the amenities of a ski village, as well as advanced sledding and the longest cross-country ski trail in Canada. We love the family-friendly vibe. Although the gym is underwhelming, at least it has a full view of the indoor pool, so parents can work out while their kids splash around. The in-room laundry facilities are perfect for drying wet ski clothing.

Fodor's Expert Review

A bustling ski resort with every kind of room—from modest studios to fully-loaded condos. Energy crackles through the four-season village, which attracts families from across Canada and Europe.

Tip Kids and teens love this property because of the huge games room, the bouncy castle, the space to run in the basement and the fun pool.

Room

Every room is wildly different, based on budget. Some are Espace Nordik two-story penthouses, some are standard doubles. But they all have a generous kitchenette with dishes, basics and stoves. Some have stackable laundry, too. The style is contemporary and chic, with comfy couches.

Tip All the entry-level Espace Nordik studios come with kind beds or two queens.

Bathroom

What soft robes! The bathrooms are crisp and clean, with plenty of towels. Some rooms have soaker tubs and a little jar of bath salts.

Lobby

A four-sided fireplace keeps it cozy. With a soaring ceiling and a large-scale model of the ski village, the lobby is a welcoming space. The central lounge is fun for people-watching. It leads into the bar and convenience store--and yes, they sell microwave popcorn.

You Should Know The exposed concrete walls, circa 1980s, don’t appeal to some guests, but the rustic decor touches (wood accent panels, faux suede couches, deer pillows) help soften things up.
