The menu at M sur Masson is filled with dishes that are satisfyingly traditional but with enough creative twists to keep food lovers interested. The French onion soup is one of the best around, making use of a deep-flavored Swiss Gruyère des Grottes, and if veal liver is your thing, this is the place to order it. The aged cheddar poutine is the house specialty and makes for a satisfying lunch. The dining room, lined with wooden benches and globe-shaped light fixtures, is appropriately bistro-esque.
