Fodor's Expert Review BarBounya

The menu at this beautifully designed eatery features Turkish-inspired cuisine with a focus on meze, small dishes served hot or cold and meant to be ordered in large quantities for sharing. The local poached lamb köfte with sunchokes has become a classic, as has the tune lakerda and braised quince—which are only enhanced by BarBounya's extensive wine list, consisting mostly of private imports. BarBounya also serves brunch. The atmosphere is casual and the seating is communal, while service is friendly yet flawless.
