Tips and service charges aren’t usually added to a bill in Toronto. In general, tip 15–20% of the total bill. This goes for food servers, barbers and hairdressers, and taxi drivers. Porters and doormen should get about C$2 a bag. For maid service, leave C$2–C$5 per person a day.
