Bruce Trail

Bruce Trail. Canada's oldest and longest footpath, the Bruce Trail stretches 885 km (550 miles) along the Niagara Escarpment, with an additional 400 km (250 miles) of side trails. It takes in scenery from the orchards and vineyards of the Niagara Escarpment—one of Canada's 15 UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves—to the craggy cliffs and bluffs at Tobermory, 370 km (230 miles) north of Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can access the hiking trail at just about any point along the route; the main trail is marked with white blazes, the side trails with blue blazes. Northern parts of the trail are remote.
