Originally the 1875 home of Fredericton's mayor, this beautiful pre-Victorian mansion—a Provincial Historic Site—is as authentic as they come, and it's in the loveliest part of the city. Throughout the building original features have been meticulously retained, even down to the wallpaper, and it's furnished with genuine Victorian antiques and reproduction pieces. The charming and enthusiastic innkeepers are a mine of information, from the history of the building to the best places to eat in the area.
