There's a happening vibe at this cozy little wine bar and bistro on Ucluelet's main street. The food, from the busy open kitchen, is regional fare, including freshly caught seafood and picked-today produce. The menu changes frequently, but you can count on innovative fare and a choice of small plates or mains. Starters include albacore tuna sashimi in ponzu and sweet pulled pork with house-made kimchi. Mains like miso-glazed salmon hint at the chef's travels around Asia, while duck breast with caramelized fennel puree and grilled beef tenderloin give a nod to European cuisine. Everything is paired with predominantly BC wines.
