Traveling with Pets

No longer relegated to boarding kennels during a vacation, pets are now the norm when it comes to travel. You’ll find many hotels and inns have set aside dog-designated rooms. If you are bringing a cat or dog into Canada, it must have a certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian that clearly identifies the animal and certifies that it is vaccinated against rabies, and indicates the date of vaccination. Assistance dogs are allowed into Canada without restriction.
