Educational Offerings

Evening interpretive programs at Waterton Lakes National Parks are offered from late June until Labor Day at the Falls Theatre, near Cameron Falls, and the townsite campground. These one-hour sessions begin at 8. A guided International Peace Park hike is held every Wednesday and Saturday in July and August. The 14-km (9-mile) hike begins at the Bertha trailhead, and is led by Canadian and American park interpreters. You take lunch at the International Border before continuing on to Goat Haunt in Glacier National Park, Montana, and returning to Waterton via boat. A fee is charged for the return boat trip. You must preregister for this hike at the Waterton Information Centre.
