Air Travel

All international flights (except for a handful of flights from San José, Costa Rica and Medellín, Colombia) land at Panama City's Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen (PTY), 26 km (16 miles) northeast of Panama City. Panama has one domestic airline, Air Panama, which flies to about two-dozen destinations (as well as to San José and Medellín) out of Aeropuerto Marcos A. Gelabert, next to Albrook Mall.
