The Aeropuerto Internacional Bocas del Toro (BOC), the archipelago's tiny airport, is five blocks from the center of Bocas Town, at the west end of Avenida E. Domestic carrier Air Panama flies twice daily to and from Panama City. The flight takes 45 minutes and costs around $150. Costa Rican airline Nature Air flies four mornings weekly between Bocas and San José. You’ll pay an international departure tax of $15, and an international arrival fee of $3. Note that flights from Panama City to Bocas depart from Marcus A. Gelabert Airport rather than Tocumen International Airport. A taxi ride between the two aiports costs $30.
