Akumal Dive Center. The area's oldest dive operation offers reef or cenote diving as well as one-hour snorkeling tours; the latter includes gear, lockers, showers, guides, and the M$122 conservation wristbands. Three-hour fishing trips for up to four people can also be arranged. Take a sharp right at the Akumal Arch and you'll see the dive shop on the beach. Akumal Dive Shop. You can go snorkeling with turtles or diving at cenotes with the Akumal Dive Shop. Certification courses as well as specialized programs for kids are also available. Centro Ecológico Akumal. The ecological center in Akumal has exhibits and a video about the bay and turtles that is worth watching before you venture into the water.
