Halfway between Tulum's beaches and Cobá's ruins, this jungle sanctuary provides the perfect escape for travelers wanting the best of both worlds. Lovely gardens surround four solar-powered casitas, each connected by illuminated pathways. Every room has 24-hour air-conditioning, a private patio, and a stocked minibar; several have open-air showers. Throughout the property are waterfalls, swimming pools, a natural cenote, and plenty of flora and fauna (tree species are labeled for self-guided tours). A substantial breakfast is served under a garden palapa, and a five-course candlelit dinner can be prepared on request. In addition to designated relaxation areas, a small spa offers massages, a temazcal for steam baths, and a rooftop Jacuzzi.
