More change is coming, as land has been acquired and designs submitted for a 100-acre golf course, three marinas, and, eventually, a series of hotels with 50,000 rooms.

The moniker "Bahía Kino" actually refers to twin towns: Kino Viejo (Old Kino, the Mexican village) and Kino Nuevo (New Kino), where facing a long strand of creamy beach you'll find private homes, condos, RV sites, and other tourist facilities.
