Balenario Xote. Although a bit rough around the edges, Balenario Xote has two superfast and high waterslides as well as different-size thermal pools. The restaurant is only open during holidays and some weekends, but the snack shop is always open, and bringing your own food and drinks is permitted. You can camp here, too. La Gruta. La Gruta has several warm mineral-spring pools; the warmest is in a large, covered, man-made cave accessed via a tunnel. You can get a massage or order food and drinks from a variety of places on the large, grassy grounds, including an indoor bar-restaurant, or outside at shaded café tables on the grass, or from lounge chairs on an elevated patio. On Friday, admission is two for the price of one. No food or drink can be brought in, and pets are not allowed.
