Air Travel

Aeropuerto Internacional Playa de Oro (ZLO) is 32 km (20 miles), or 40 minutes, north of town. US Airways flies here from Phoenix, and Alaska Airlines flies from Los Angeles. Aeroméxico and Interjet fly from Mexico City. Taxis from the airport charge about MX$500; the shared vans that run to the major resorts are less expensive.
