Fodor's Expert Review Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos

As the last property in San José del Cabo's Hotel Zone, the familiar Holiday Inn brand here gets high marks for its attentive, friendly, old-world Mexican attitude among the staff members. This sprawling property features cactus gardens that surround low-lying cream-colored buildings dating back to the early '80s. The hotel has three sections, one is adults-only and one is for families. Each is centered on pools and lounging areas, but rooms on the ground floor have terraces and hammocks and are considered the best option. All accommodations have showers but no bathtubs. Nightly entertainment and three restaurants round out the offerings.
