Golf Cart Travel

Golf carts are a fun way to get around the island, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Due to topes (speed bumps) and potholes, they’re a much safer option than exploring by moped or bike. There are more than a dozen rental agencies, although not all golf carts are created equal. Bypass the rusty cream-color carts, and opt for those with thick tires made by familiar brands like Jeep Wrangler. Most companies allow prebooking online and will deliver your golf cart directly to your hotel. This, however, limits your ability to haggle over the price. Rates start at approximately MX$802 for 24 hours depending on the season.
