Boat Travel

There is no boat travel through the rough waters along this stretch of coast. Your only experience on boats will be the ride on the lanchón ferries that transport you and your vehicle across the Canal de Chiquimulilla that separates Monterrico from the mainland, and that only if you travel via Avellanas, which very few visitors do these days.
