Nightlife in Livingston has always been synonymous with one word: Ubafu. Everyone, resident and visitor alike, stops by this popular bar on the Calle Principal to enjoy the distinctive punta music. Your other option is to stop by various hotels and restaurants—namely the Villa Caribe and Bahía Azul—which also present shows of Garífuna music many evenings. These places are lively and enjoyable, but fall a bit into the watered-down-for-tourists category.
