Air

Three of Costa Rica's domestic airlines—SANSA, Skyway, and Aerobell—all have direct flights from San José to Puerto Jiménez, Drake Bay, and Golfito. They all fly small planes that hold 14 to 19 passengers. Be aware that Aerobell flies out of Tobias Bolaños airport north of Pavas, about a 20-minute taxi ride from SJO.
