Planning Your Time

A week gives you enough time to visit several beaches on the central coast and still explore the wildlife of Manuel Antonio National Park. Adventure seekers might want to set aside a day for a surf lesson, forest hike, or canopy tour. The perfect balance is three days in scenic Manuel Antonio, two days at a secluded beach near Tárcoles or Playa Bejuco, and a couple of days for surfing and action close to bustling Jacó.
