Amigo

Part nightclub, part café, part bowling alley, Amigo is a full-fledged entertainment complex popular with a younger crowd. DJs here spin a wide variety of music, and on any given night you may hear salsa, house, pop, or even old-school disco beats. The café serves European and pan-Asian cuisine, along with coffee and a wide selection of cocktails, and there’s a lounge area for puffing on hookahs. The bowling alley offers “disco bowling” (cosmic bowling), complete with colorful illuminated lanes.

Banana Cocktail Club

This is a sleek cocktail lounge with lots of plush seating and a spacious dance floor that can get packed on the weekends. It features a full schedule of events, including dance music parties and regular karaoke nights (on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The bar offers a huge selection of liquors, along with a more limited range of beers, wines, and prosecco. You must be 21 or over to get in.

Buddha Bar Kiev

The Kiev location of the famous Parisian chain lives up to the brand’s global reputation. Featuring the chain's signature red and black interiors and giant Buddha statue, it's a good place for cocktails, hookahs, and East Asian appetizers. The music is the loungey global electronica with which the brand is synonymous, and there are frequent live DJs, often with accompanying percussionists.

Café del Mar

Travelers in search of a relaxing evening out on the town may want to forego one of the city's wilder nightclubs in favor of the chilled-out, living room-esque environs of Café Del Mar. This trendy hookah bar features plush leather couch seating next to floor-to-ceiling windows and serves a small selection of coffees, desserts, and cocktails along with their sheesha. Resident DJs Vesta Sennaya and Sasha Funny stop by from time to time to play deep house sets.

Electronic dance music fans stopping over in Kherson will feel right at home here. The bar and nightclub has regular DJ nights, with a heavy focus on house music. Though evenings are dedicated to dancing (and the occasional evening boxing match), daytime pool parties are a frequent occurrence in summer months at the adjacent Miami pool.

Ibiza

Though it's a far cry from its Balaeric Island namesake, Ibiza offers a rare beach club experience right in Odessa. This large Black Sea nightclub sits right on Arcadia Beach and features a huge amount of space, much of it outdoors. It's a bit of a one-stop-shop for partiers, with a bar and a sushi restaurant on site. Music is mostly electronic, and the mega-club regularly invites well-known DJs from around the world to spin at its decks.

Itaka Beach Resort and Night Club

Right on the Black Sea, Itaka is a Greek-themed nightclub spread over two levels. Along with a main dance area with a regular rotation of DJs, there's a beachside disco playing hits from the '80s and '90s. There’s also a restaurant on site, and the menu unsurprisingly includes lots of Greek specialties, alongside Mediterranean favorites and even sushi.

John Howard Pub & Whisky Club

One of central Kherson's better-known watering holes, this Irish pub provides a laid-back spot to drink a beer and watch a soccer match. Food is served, but most people come here for the drinks and the ambiance, and there regular themed nights and live music. However, soccer games are the star attraction for many patrons, and it gets particularly lively during major games—if you happen to be in town during the Euro or World Cup events, this is certainly the place to be.

Joss Cocktail Club

On the third floor of the Hotel Kremin—a hotel and entertainment complex with restaurants, bars, and conference facilities—Joss Cocktail Club is one of the more grown-up spots for a night out in Kremenchug. As the name suggests, this upscale nightclub features a full bar with a wide range of cocktails, and entertainment ranges from cabaret style shows to electronic music nights featuring well-known DJs. Music is eclectic, ranging from the house beats commonly heard throughout Ukrainian night clubs to rhythms from around the world.

Frequented by a slightly younger crowd, Morgan is a popular restaurant and sometime karaoke joint that turns into a nightclub come evening time. Music ranges from pop to electronic dance music, but if you don't feel like hitting the dance floor, you can dine on European dishes and sushi or sip cocktails from the sidelines. They have hookahs, too.

On the banks of the Dnieper River, the Rio Club is a large complex with a restaurant, a coffee shop, and a banquet hall. However, the nightclub is the star attraction and features a large dance area with dark lighting and plenty of booth seating for wallflowers. Music varies, and depending on the night you may find yourself dancing to anything from rock to techno. The overall vibe is loud and the crowd tends toward the twenties set.

Vanil Party Bar

This dark nightclub hosts a variety of local and international DJs and MCs, with a heavy focus on electronic dance music. The club is part of the larger Europa entertainment complex, which also features a bar, a restaurant, and a bowling bar, essentially a bowling alley that serves beer.
