Air Travel

The quickest way to get to the central and southern Aegean coast is by plane. Daily flights connect Istanbul with airports in İzmir and Bodrum. Depending on the season, there are direct flights to İzmir and Bodrum from Ankara, Adana, and Antalya as well. İzmir is also a hub for SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, which offers an increasing number of flights to the Aegean city from European destinations.
