Fodor's Expert Review Melrose House Hotel

There’s a bit of a rustic-lodge vibe to this welcoming hotel on the outskirts of town, though it’s not lacking in comforts, with a garden and pool area. Family rooms are available, as are rooms with Jacuzzi tubs. The excellent restaurant specializes in Turkish dishes cooked in its wood-fired stone oven and is open to nonguests as well. The same owners also operate the newer Melrose Viewpoint, somewhat closer to the town center.
