Smack in the middle of Istanbul's entertainment district, the celebrated Philippe Starck–designed Parisian boutique hotel brand presents its first foray outside France: a hip, central base for travelers who want to be in the middle of the action. The compact and über-minimalist guest rooms cater to the young at heart, with white and metallic surfaces, functional desks, and playful decorative touches. Higher-priced rooms have private terraces overlooking a wraparound courtyard. The open-air rooftop restaurant and bar has fabulous 360-degree views of the city and attracts a lively, late-night crowd—this isn't the place for a calm and quiet night.
