Run by a Konya native and his American wife, İkonium is a studio and shop specializing in handmade felt textiles, a traditional local craft. The shop sells colorful felt hats, purses, and accessories; silk scarves embellished with felt; and other decorative items. All pieces are made on the premises, and the staff will gladly show visitors the felt production process. The owners' work has been showcased around the world, and the two occasionally run felt-making workshops.
