Though decidedly no-frills, this lunch-only eatery on a backstreet behind Konya’s main post office serves well-prepared home-style food—including perhaps the best kuru fasulye, or baked beans, anywhere in the area. The reasonably priced menu changes daily but always includes one or two soups, a few vegetable or meat specials, and the signature beans. Run by the same family for more than 30 years, the cafeteria-style venue has linoleum tables covered with butcher paper, livened up by a handful of potted plants.
