Urban chic meets traditional Alpine style at this restaurant on the lower level of the W Verbier, where polished copper lights and leather banquettes meld seamlessly with floor-to-ceiling windows, faux fur pillows, and exposed wood. The menu puts a modern spin on local Swiss fare with a seasonal menu that might highlight pumpkin and deer in the fall and asparagus and fish in the spring. Signature dishes like fried perch, a lentil burger, and a duo of beef that includes beef tartare and filet mignon of Hérens (a local breed of cow) are regularly on the menu. The wine list offers several excellent local options.
