A member of the Relais & Châteaux collection of hotels, this sophisticated Landgasthof (country inn) is set apart from town at the end of a woodsy lane and includes one of the top restaurants in the region. The quiet property features pine paneling, lovely antiques, and serene views that mellow the ultramodern fittings and contemporary-art exhibits. Airy whitewashed guest rooms lead to spacious balconies with magnificent mountain views. Not a detail goes unnoticed—even the floors are pampered, with colorful, exotic rugs to cushion your every step. The hotel's restaurant is a culinary delight.
