Bus Travel

The Palm Express scenic postbus route carries visitors from St. Moritz to Lugano via the Maloja Pass. It takes about four hours and can be arranged at any train station or tourist office.

There's a convenient postbus sightseeing system here that you can use to get around the region, even into the backcountry. Booklets with suggested itineraries and prices are available through the Autopostale Ticino-Moesano or local tourist and post offices.

Postbus excursion prices are reduced with the Ticino Discovery Card. Even better, they are free with the Swiss Pass.
