Sledding

Klosters–Davos is big on sledding, with eight sled runs crisscrossing resort mountains. The 3.7-km (2.3-mile) Rinerhorn run, up the valley from Davos, is lighted up at night. A day card costs 53 SF, and a sled can be rented for 13 SF at the cable-car valley station with a 50 SF deposit; most shops will also accept your passport as a deposit. Evening runs on the lighted slope are open Wednesday and Friday, 7–11 pm, from January to March. They cost 26 SF for an evening.

Day tickets for Schatzalp to Davos Platz cost 30 SF, and night sledding (6–10:30 pm) costs 24 SF. Day cards at Madrisa mountain cost 39 SF. The run here is 8½ km (5 miles) long and ends in Saas, from which you can return by bus to Klosters (buses leave every hour or so until 7:24 pm). Sled rentals at the Madrisa cable-car station are 10 SF. Another sled run begins at the midway station of the Parsenn Klosters (Gotschna) cable car. Day passes cost 39 SF; sled rentals at the station cost 10 SF.
