Poblenou

Converted loft spaces and cutting-edge architecture collide with handsome 19th-century residences in Poblenou. This sizable neighborhood faces the sea, and is considered to be one of Barcelona's up-and-coming (and most underrated) neighborhoods, a magnet nowadays (like New York's Soho in its early days of gentrification) for ambitious little restaurants, chic boutiques, galleries, and ateliers. The most appealing place for a stroll is the Rambla de Poblenou.
