Lochinver

Lochinver is a very pretty quiet shoreside community of whitewashed cottages, with lovely beaches to the north, a harbor used by the west-coast fishing fleet, and a couple of good dining and lodging options. Behind the town the mountain Suilven rises abruptly. Take the cul-de-sac, Baddidarroch Road, for a great photo opportunity. Lochinver is a perfect base for exploring Sutherland.
