Fodor's Expert Review Two Fat Ladies
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
From its start in 1989 in a tiny West End space, Two Fat Ladies raised the standards of seafood in the city well before the Finnieston revolution, and superb fish still dominates the limited menu. This City Centre branch retains a feeling of intimacy even if the decor and large window give off an airy vibe. Fish dishes might include plaice with crayfish in a lemon and nutmeg butter or monkfish with cabbage and bacon. If fish doesn't rock your boat, try the lamb shank with rosemary mash.
