Perhaps just like it was when you were a kid, this Lunchbox has a sleek design and occasionally zany food that is only sometimes what you were hoping for. Chocolate-colored leather booths hug the walls downstairs and one corner of the snug upper mezzanine; coffee-table cookbooks lie strewn in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass facade. The food is, as you could guess, ideal for taking as a to-go lunch—pre-packaged soups, grain salads, sandwiches of all sorts. And while certain combinations seem questionable, such as meat ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes, mint, and dill, there are so many options that you're likely to find something that suits your mood.
