Lisbon's tourist offices (AskMe Lisboa) can provide information on a vast range of trips and tours in Lisbon's outskirts, from surf trips to winery visits, as well as more standard sightseeing tours by bus. The main branch is located downtown at Terreiro do Paço (also known as Praça do Comercio). The staff here can sell you the Lisboa Card, valid for periods of 24, 48, or 72 hours (€20, €34, and €42); the card's benefits include free rail travel to Sintra and along the Estoril Coast and free or discounted access to many of the region's tourist attractions. Local tourist offices are usually open daily June to September. Their hours are greatly reduced after peak season, and most are closed Sunday.
