Bus

There are few places in this region that aren't served by at least one bus daily. Express coaches run by several regional lines travel regularly between Lisbon and the larger towns such as Évora, Beja, and Estremoz. Because several companies leave for the Alentejo from different terminals in Lisbon, it's best to have a travel agent do your booking. Standard buses between Lisbon and Évora run at least once every hour between 6 am and 9:30 pm, and cost €12.
