It's worth the time it takes to find this lovely local restaurant, tucked away down a quiet street in Portalegre. Decorated with traditional tiles and brick archways, it's a charming local favorite that serves up amazing Alentejo dishes like migas, porco preto, and grilled fish. Half portions are huge and economical, and so are the ceramic pitchers of Alentejan red wine. Don't be surprised if you return twice during your trip.
