Right in the center of town with access to the beach via the flower-filled gardens, the Maré has rooms that are colorfully decorated and with balconies; family-size rooms are available. If you can't get a room with a view, head for the fifth-floor terrace to take in the panoramic vistas. Guests can enjoy a range of water sports (at added cost) on the beach, including snorkeling, windsurfing, and fishing, and staff will arrange car rentals if you prefer to explore. The hotel's range of themed packages are good value.
