Bus Travel

Gdańsk is the major gateway for the Baltic coast and northeastern Poland. Gdańsk's PKS bus station is right next to the main train station. Buses may be useful for those who want to venture to small towns off the beaten track since PKS buses link all the small towns of the region; otherwise, trains are more frequent and more comfortable.

A regular service runs throughout the Tri-City area, taking you from Gdańsk through Oliwa and Sopot to Gdynia. The whole trip takes about 1¾ hours. The buses run from 5 am to 11 pm; after 11 pm there is an hourly night-bus service.
