If you plan to visit a lot of museums, it is always worth buying a Museumkaart (Museum Card), or MJK; this gives you free entry to more than 400 museums throughout the country for a year, including a dozen or so in Rotterdam. Alternatively, a Rotterdam Welcome Card will get you at least 25% off entry to 50 local museums and attractions, plus free rides on local buses, trams, and metros. They are available from tourist offices, as well as online (www.rotterdam.info) at €12.50, €18.50, or €23.50 for one, two, or three days.
