Fodor's Expert Review Chiggeri
The name means "chicory" in Luxembourgish but also translates colloquially as "a funny surprise," which is exactly what this restaurant is. The menu features gourmet food with a twist—such as the dinner-in-the-dark option where taste takes over from sight. This old mansion house offers a variety of settings, from its busy, informal bar to the glass-roofed, lantern-strewn jardin d'hiver, to the quirky main dining room with its Moroccan vibe. Outside, the terrace has fine views across to the Kirchberg Plateau, while the exceptional wine list has received numerous awards.
