Although much of the Vesuvian area is embraced by the Vesuvius National Park, don't expect well-appointed agriturismi, or rustic lodgings—or, for that matter, hotels that have you sighing with pleasure when you throw open the shutters. But don't fear, you can find some good hotels east of Naples.
