Fodor's Expert Review Ristorante Museo Caruso
Sorrentine favorites, including acquerello (fresh fish appetizer) and ravioli with crab and zucchini sauce, are tweaked creatively here. The staff are warm and helpful, the singer on the sound system is the long-departed "fourth tenor" himself, and the operatic memorabilia (including posters and old photos of Caruso) is viewed in a flattering blush-pink light. This elegant restaurant deserves its longtime popularity. It is open from noon to midnight and has five-course tasting menus from €50. Its less expensive sister restaurant, La Basilica serves similarly sumptuous fare, just down the road.
