Why We Like It

The beautiful attentive details throughout make this boutique hotel truly special. With a wonderfully helpful staff, it's a welcoming addition to Rome's hotel offerings. While rooms are not incredibly large, if you plan on being out for most of the day, it's a wonderful place to rest your head for the night. They are continuously upgrading services for customers to stay competitive with top offerings in Rome. And the location is convenient for getting anywhere in the city, being close to Termini but in the more historic (picturesque) part of the neighborhood.

Fodor's Expert Review

Situated in an elegant Art Nouveau palazzo dating back to 1876, this charming hotel feels like a luxurious private home with all the modern amenities. Located just around the corner from the Rome Opera House, the hotel, which was originally built as a residence for Prince Philip Don Orsini, is furnished with original artwork and British-styled fabrics, bedspreads, and drapes. The attention to detail is evident at every turn, from the frescoed halls to the breakfast room.
