This old-school enoteca (wine bar) is one of Parma's liveliest, drawing in a mix of intellectuals and gregarious twentysomethings, who often spill out onto the street, wine glasses in hand. Grab a table inside and feast on inexpensive tartines or grilled panini, whose seemingly endless options include coppa, pancetta, and Gorgonzola. The interior may be minimal, with yellow walls and wooden tables, but the wine list and sandwich menu are substantial. You can also avoid the madding crowd altogether by getting a bottle to go from its vast collection.
